FAQ

I'm new to this. Will it be hard?

Believe it or not, you can’t mess up beautiful flowers. We make paint-by-numbers easy with plenty of room to play around. Our fresh flower kits are made for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner with hearts in your eyes or an ikebana pro, our step-by-step instructions streamline the process. Plus, you can always reach out to our support team if you need extra help!

How long will these flowers last?

With proper care, your flowers can last anywhere from 5 to 10 days, depending on the variety. Each flower type has its own vase life—tropical greens can last for weeks, while delicate blooms like anemones may only last a few days.

Simply remove flowers as they fade and enjoy the rest! Remember, longevity doesn’t define a flower’s value. In fact, the most exquisite flowers, like ranunculus, often have shorter vase lives compared to sturdy blooms like carnations.

Do these flowers arrive already built?

No. Your flowers arrive fresh and bundled, ready for you to design. Shipping an arrangement already built would compromise freshness—and more importantly, it would remove the experience.

Petal Icon is designed to be hands-on. You’ll receive everything you need to create with intention, guided step by step, so the finished arrangement feels personal and reflects your own taste.

When do I order?

Place your order at least 10 days before your desired delivery date. You’ll select your delivery date during checkout.

Flowers are cut fresh to order and should arrive 2 days before your event to allow time for proper hydration and opening before designing. This also provides a buffer in the event of a transit delay, which is especially important for flower bars, events, and office gatherings.

Where do the flowers come from?

Straight from farms in Ecuador and Colombia! We’ve seen and visited where your flowers grow. We also kicked and screamed when we had to fly home to Oklahoma. The farms we choose to work with have Rainforest Alliance, BASC, FlorEcuador, and FairTrade certifications.

By choosing our products, you're supporting responsible practices that prioritize a healthier planet and more sustainable industry.

What happens if my flowers are delayed?

Once your flowers ship, delivery timelines are handled by UPS or FedEx. While we can’t control shipping delays, our team is experienced at stepping in to help if something goes off schedule.

To minimize risk, we recommend scheduling delivery 2 days before your flower event.. This built-in buffer allows time for hydration and provides flexibility in the event of a delay. If an issue does occur, reach out to us—we’re here to support you and will work to make things right.

When will the flowers arrive at my house?

Your flowers are scheduled to arrive on the delivery date you selected at checkout, barring any unexpected carrier delays. Delivery timing is determined by FedEx or UPS and can vary by location.

In most metro areas, deliveries typically arrive earlier in the day. In more remote locations, they may arrive later. Tracking information will be provided so you can follow the shipment and plan accordingly.

It's best to have someone there to receive the flowers so they are not left on the porch.

Our Freshness Promise

We Promise Botanical Bliss

Flowers are living, natural products—not every stem behaves perfectly. A small amount of natural loss (typically 3–5%) can happen during transit or hydration. That’s normal, and it’s why we intentionally include extra stems and account for some loss in every kit.

The good news? This isn’t a blueberry situation, where every third one is an absolute nightmare. Our flowers are expected to arrive vibrant, fresh, and ready to hydrate beautifully.

If any stems don’t rehydrate as expected, simply snap a few photos and reach out. We stand behind our flowers and are always happy to make things right.

Your experience, and your flowers, matter to us.
