Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of petalicon.com (the “Site”) and any purchase of products or services from Petal Icon (“Petal Icon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase from Petal Icon.
1. Who We Are & What We Offer
Petal Icon offers flower experience kits, fresh flowers, floral supplies, and related educational content (collectively, the “Products” and “Services”). Many of our Products are perishable and time-sensitive.
2. Eligibility
You must be the age of majority in your state or province of residence to place an order. Purchases are for personal use only unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
3. Orders, Pricing & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Prices may change at any time.

In the event of a pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

By placing an order, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the full amount shown at checkout, including shipping and taxes.
4. Shipping, Delivery & Route Protection
Shipping Carriers
Orders ship via third-party carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or regional providers. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed by time of day. Carriers may leave packages without a signature.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or locations that carriers cannot reasonably access.
Responsibility for Delivery
You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive and promptly bring the package inside.
Petal Icon is not responsible for:

stolen packages after delivery,
-
heat or cold exposure after delivery,
-
flowers left unattended,
-
quality decline caused by delayed unpacking.
If a carrier attempts delivery and you are unavailable, you are responsible for coordinating pickup or redelivery directly with the carrier. Missed or delayed deliveries may void refund or replacement eligibility due to the perishable nature of flowers.
Route Shipping Protection
Petal Icon offers Route Shipping Protection at checkout.

If Route is purchased, all carrier-related claims (including loss, theft, or transit damage) must be filed directly with Route.

Petal Icon does not approve, deny, or manage Route claims.

Route may require photos and documentation.
If you decline Route, you acknowledge that Petal Icon is not responsible for loss, theft, delays, or damage occurring during transit once the shipment is handed to the carrier.
5. Your Role as the Florist
By purchasing from Petal Icon, you acknowledge that you are acting as the florist.
You are responsible for:

reading and following all care and prep instructions,
-
properly hydrating and processing flowers upon arrival,
-
storing flowers correctly,
-
allowing adequate hydration time before design.
We provide detailed instructions and guidance, but results depend on handling, timing, environment, and technique.
6. Natural Product Expectations (5% Loss Rule)
Flowers are a natural agricultural product, and perfection is not guaranteed.
You understand and accept that:

Up to 5% loss is normal and expected.

Petal Icon ships extra stems to help account for normal loss.
-
Minor blemishes, color variation, bloom stage differences, and stem breakage during processing are normal.
Roses & Guard Petals
-
Guard petals on roses are expected and must be removed.
-
Guard petals are protective outer layers and are not considered damage or a defect.
Petal Icon guarantees the overall freshness and quality of the shipment, not that every stem will be flawless as they are fresh flowers, not silk.
7. Substitutions
Petal Icon reserves the right to make substitutions only when reasonably necessary due to supply or quality issues.

Substitutions will maintain comparable style, palette, and value.

Premium flowers will not be replaced with significantly lower-value alternatives.

Substitutions are not eligible for refund.
8. Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery, contact, and event information. Orders affected by incorrect or incomplete addresses are not eligible for refunds or replacements.
9. Order Changes
Change requests must be submitted to orders@petalicon.com as early as possible.

Changes are not guaranteed and depend on timing and availability.

Requests made close to ship date may be declined or subject to an administrative or expedite fee.
-
Excessive changes may incur additional fees at our discretion.
10. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled up to 14 days prior to the scheduled delivery date for a full refund.

Any items already shipped, including supplies or hard goods, are not refundable.
-
Cancellations inside two weeks (14 days) of delivery are not eligible for refund, as flowers have been secured.
11. Refunds, Claims & Quality Issues
Claim Requirements
To be considered for a refund:
-
Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
-
Multiple clear photos must be provided showing the entire order (not a single stem).
-
The issue must materially exceed normal expected loss.
-
The issue must not be caused by missed delivery or improper handling.
Not Eligible for Refund
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
individual damaged stems,
-
expected loss within 5%,
-
normal variation or guard petals,
-
flowers discarded without authorization,
-
claims submitted after 24 hours,
-
issues caused by missed delivery.
Flowers must not be discarded until Petal Icon reviews the claim.
Petal Icon does not reimburse replacement flowers purchased elsewhere.
Claims must be submitted to orders@petalicon.com.
12. Promotions & Discount Codes
Only one discount or promotion may be used per order unless otherwise stated. Promotions cannot be applied retroactively and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
13. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at our discretion.
Abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or hostile behavior toward our team may result in order cancellation. Refunds, if issued, apply only to unshipped items.
14. Intellectual Property
All site content—including text, images, videos, designs, guides, and branding—is owned by Petal Icon or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Use of our content without written permission is prohibited.
15. User-Submitted Content
By submitting reviews, photos, videos, or messages to Petal Icon, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content for marketing and promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing. You represent that you have the rights to share such content.
16. Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for third-party services, including carriers, payment processors, or linked websites.
17. Disclaimers
The Site, Products, and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact color matching, bloom timing, or identical replication of photos.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Petal Icon is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product(s).

We are not responsible for carrier failures once shipments leave our possession.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Petal Icon and its affiliates from claims arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
20. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be brought in state or federal courts located in Oklahoma.
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at orders@petalicon.com and allow a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue.
21. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Petal Icon regarding use of the Site and purchases.
